ÌìÃÀÊÓƵ

The Special Education Department of the ÌìÃÀÊÓƵ Public ÌìÃÀÊÓƵ provides a wide spectrum of support services for students with disabilities, between 3 years and 22 years of age. The focus of these programs and services is to provide each student with the necessary skills in order to access the general curriculum.

Under the direction of Ellen Sugita and Kay Slusser, the goal of the Special Education Department is to promote individual student academic excellence, promote positive interpersonal development and encourage a collaborative and reflective learning environment where all students can actively participate in the daily life of the ÌìÃÀÊÓƵ Public ÌìÃÀÊÓƵ and community.
